The site follows longterm and short term projects as they progress. In the movie version, it features contributors but right now, it’s a whole lotta, me doing stuff.

About Adrianne Dow Young

I was raised at a traveler’s table, where I learned about tackling the world’s problems differently. While I’ve always written professionally, I have also been a bicycle messenger, concert security guard, theatre cleaner, and worked in boutique creative firms.

I came of age in Seattle in the 90’s and have spent years traveling from kitchen to kitchen.

I’ve farmed produce to serve in my restaurant and learned wine from the vineyard soil outward. There is literally nothing that I can’t write without a sense of enjoyment. Even double negative sentences. I have an endless interest in the stories that quietly propel life forward.

At present, my biggest project is a horse who, while not a rescue, is a retired mare who needs a lot of calories.
