November’s Twelve: Projects Update

It’s been a busy month and certainly not without its drama. As a person who has marched through a lot of literal and figurative mud, this progress report is a happy moment.

Wave a little flag.

Das Kitten Haus Ruth was adopted! We need a minute before we take on any more kittens but it’s kitten season.

The Sunset Club Dagrenning is getting the right amount of feed and her weight is holding. It’s getting colder. She is now fed 3x what she had been fed when we took her on. We are actively working on expanding her community to include additional financial support to ensure she’s got everything she needs for the rest of her life.

Pick up some Ponderosa Pine hydrosol, a co-op box or anything at Persephone’s Ball.

We’re happy for Costal gift cards too. Dagrenning eats nearly 8 bags of feed a month.

Next Step: Create a supporter box.

Persephone’s Ball  Goalpost moment. Labels got designed again. And they will once or twice more. But regardless of its polish and branding, Persephone’s Ball is actively in business. As in, it’s selling products. It’s good stuff.

Bitte Bitte Leavenworth A new way of cooking has cropped up: cooking for neighbors who could use the in home kitchen support. It’s lovely and healing. So I think Imma gonna keep going that direction.

House High Colonic This. Is. So. Hard. Halp. Like calling all angels, help me get this forking house clear of stuff.

All For Adelaide Creating an unfalteringly great life for a child: It’s an everyday thing. In the past five years, I’ve learned a lot of lessons and faced the hard truths about my actions and words. Everyday, I get to put those lessons into action. It’s a serious exercise to consistent and happy memories in the face of reality. I have had to look forward 20 years and then look back on this time. What is it that would be the gentlest, sweetest way to live right now? How can this moment in her life be as rich with consistency and solid play as possible?

Next Step: Create routine and something to look forward to around different parts of the week that includes people, singing, and fire. We gotta have fire.

Adrianne Dow Young Freelance Creative: A friend of mine once posted, “Do not beckon what you cannot banish” That feels like this project. I’ve decided that I want to do more of this. (pardon the photos, a lot of content was tossed in the healing process that just happened.)

Fiction Oh, that is so not right now.
