Dagrenning’s Sunset Club is the second Enchantment Learning Project experiment. Enchantment Learning Project is a yet to be launched collaboration that offers high quality learning opportunities differently.
Overall Sunset Club Goal
Dagrenning wakes up every morning for the rest of her life happy to be a horse.
Goal Posts
Find a senior Icelandic horse the ideal forever dry lot home √
Community of skilled and affectionate people √ (Dagrenning did this all on her own)
Community of students and kids who want to be around a horse (In process. Update this month.)
Form/Design/Construct some way of funding her so that she didn’t have to work for her food and board. (last month’s baby steps have already paid for feed!)
October Update:
Dagrenning is growing in her winter coat. Her feathers are filling in. I upped her grain. Her back rib has padding to build on. She doesn’t stand square a ton. She’s feeling some aches.
At Sunset
At the end of this project, not only have all of the goal posts been checked , but this project helps other people imagine a way to create a rich and healthy end of life community around senior or retired animals.
