September’s Four

It’s not shipping weather.

Persephone’s Ball was all set to ship out hydrosols and balms this month but the ding dang heat is making that idea seem like a messy one.

This pause gives me a chance to catch up with the writing of Persephone’s Ball – which I originally started as a retelling of Persephone’s story. It isn’t a reshaping as it is an attempt to understand and piece together the ways a child victim becomes one of the most feared deities in greek myth.

I am petrified to publish the work that I have done on this project. After eight years of research and writing, it' is time to wrap her up.

When it comes to Persephone’s Ball the skincare line, the wildfire smoke has put distilling season on pause for the foreseeable future.

That said… Today, I will be trying Golden Rod in the still…. for funsies.
