September’s Six
Instead of starting a nonprofit to fund Dagrenning, I’ve decided to simply create different avenues of income for her.
Like the Etsy shop that I rejuvinated to list some of the things we’ve collected over the years. First to go is theStrawberry Shortcake doll empire that a friend of ours gave to Adelaide five years ago. What started as a reluctant march into the unromantic life of Etsy doll listings, I started to write a mystery.
This is the first installment.
Listing for:
Ruh-roh. Something is berry awry. This morning, Strawberry Shortcake leant Huckleberry Pie her horse Maple Stirrup and the Oatsmobile, but when Maple Stirrup returned only Huckleberry Pie’s hat, shoes and adorable pet dog Pupcake were in the Oatsmobile.
Huckleberry Pie is nowhere to be found. Neither were Strawberry Shortcake's pet cat or Blueberry Pie's pet mouse.
Strawberry Shortcake is holding up well and isn’t showing any distress but she looks like she's been scratching the back of her head (see photo). She's not feeling very minty but at least she’s completely dressed with her original outfit and ready to solve the mystery of where the fork Huckleberry Pie went off to. Besides, everyone looks cute in the right hat and she has the right hat.
Blueberry Muffin’s luster is a little shy ever since her original hair bands were defiantly removed in a locked eye stare this mother will never forget, but Blueberry's hair is still formed into her iconic pig tails. Blueberry Muffin’s chipper smile and engaging expression is just as vibrant as ever.
Maybe you are the hero who helps this duo continue the quest for their missing friend and their beloved pets. Or, possibly you can provide them a place of solace, where they can hang with cupcake and find peace in their memories.

We are seriously missing the Huckleberry Pie doll, whatevertheCat and Cheesecake Mouse pets – they are not included in this listing.
